It said merely that the Lord Chancellor was very busy, and that my comments have been noted. This is much less satisfying than writing to <a href="http://politics.guardian.co.uk/person/0,9290,-1271,00.html" title="Alasdair Darling" rel="nofollow">my MP</a>. He always responds and engages with my comments, even if he disagrees with me (which he usually does at the moment).
