I received a very disappointing reply from the Department of Constitutional Affairs today (23rd September). It said merely that the Lord Chancellor was very busy, and that my comments have been noted.

This is much less satisfying than writing to my MP. He always responds and engages with my comments, even if he disagrees with me (which he usually does at the moment).
