Linklog for 3rd October to 11th October

My del.icio.us links: 3rd October to 11th October

  • A Perspective on Mazen Asbahi – A sort of 21st Century McCarthyism
  • Interactive Electoral College Map – The best interactive map I've seen so far, and the historical maps going all the way back to 1789 are fascinating. I'll be using this on election night!
  • On the Road in St. Louis County – FiveThirtyEight says that Obama's ground campaign far outstrips McCain's: "Let’s be clear. We've observed no comparison between these ground campaigns."
  • Worldmapper – Demographic and economic indicators, in map form.
  • The Choice – The New Yorker endorses Barack Obama in a lucid and inspiring editorial. Please God, let them be right.

  1. Clarice says:

Very nice. Can’t say I share the obsession with the U S of A though. Looks like you’ve got nationality dysmorphic disorder. There’s a lot going on in British politics that would bear scrutiny, you know.

I would like to state for the record that Robert Sharp is in fact British. Born British, your parents are British, and you married a British. Why be America’s poodle?

  2. Robert says:

Crikey, it is rather US-centric, isn’t it.

  3. Clarice says:

    Just a little bit :-)
Nothing on the Palin porn film though…
