		<description>Thanks for this Rob. And thanks for introducing me to a Sassoon poem I did not know. We may not yet have forgotton some of the war dead but we surely have forgotton some of the horrors of war or why do we keep sending our young people to war.

On Saturday evening I watched an excellent documentary &quot;The Fallen&quot; on BBC2 about all those lost in Iraq and Afghanistan. The documentary maker Morgan Matthews says that we are disconnected from the people who are fighting dying and their families. And how right he is although as I listened to the agony of wives, mothers and children for a few short hours I felt very connected. This documentary should be compulsory viewing for our leaders.</description>
