Some claim that social networks act like echo chambers in which people only consume and share information from likeminded close friends, stifling the spread of diverse information. Our study paints a different picture of the world. - Human wormholes and the Great Span

This House Believes Political Correctness is Sane and Necessary
So, I was invited to take part in a debate at the Cambridge Union on Thursday night. We were debating the motion “This House Believes That Political Correctness is Sane and Necessary”, and naturally, I was proposing the motion. Continue reading

Social Cost of Slavery
The unease of great-grandparents long-since buried, still festers in the soul, and it cannot be excised by education, science or modernity. Continue reading

Another PC Myth is born
I am sadly confident that this story will join the canon of PC myths, alongside Winterval and the Royal Bank of Scotland Piggy Banks, which ‘prove’ that we are being overrun by barbarians. The System Works (again)
I’m way behind the news cycle on this, but it is noteworthy that some of those people who incited violence in reaction to those Mohammed cartoons have been imprisoned. The PigDogFucker points out a useful statistic: Now the judicial process … Continue reading

Ownership of Women
Even if women have formal political equality, there still exists in society an unspoken, second-order sexism. Yet another reason why there is a place for the ideology of political correctness, which can expose and shame these attitudes Continue reading

The True Meaning of Christmas?
The “true meaning of Christmas” is in fact ‘Feasting and Family’. The dogmatic Christians forget this, and seek to impose their narrow definition of Christmas onto OUR winter festival! This is a real example of ‘Political Correctness Gone Mad’ Continue reading
